Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The RCIA, Rite of Catholic Initiation of Adults, is a program through which those wishing to become Catholics are prepared for Baptism/Reception, First Communion and Confirmation. Perhaps you are someone who, although not Catholic, calls St. Andrew’s your church. Perhaps you are Catholic, but missed your First Communion and Confirmation. If so, the RCIA will prepare you to discover what we believe as well as how we practice our faith. after a period of preparation and discernment, candidates are invited to the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation. It is the Church’s way of welcoming new members but it is also intended to renew and deepen the belief of each Catholic. The parish community supports and encourages all new members on their journey of faith.
Please contact the parish office for more information on the RCIA program.
